I designed this Valentine's email campaign for Spartan Race. I did a subtle animation of the pulses as well as the tagline and promotional offer. I don't think the animation is too obtrusive yet it still grabs one's attention. This email was the last in a series of email campaigns and it stresses that it's the absolute last chance to sign up for this promotion. Additionally, there is a countdown timer that was added that also stresses urgency with a strong CTA.
